Look closer. Think. Create freely.
A creative program for children using visual art to build observation, independent thinking, and creative confidence.
Small-group art classes for ages 5–12, with Saturday sessions in Thousand Oaks and programs offered through charter schools.
What is Form & Wonder?
Art is where we begin. Thinking is what we build.
Form & Wonder uses visual art to help children slow down, look closely, explore ideas, and think independently.
Instead of copying a finished example, children observe, question, experiment, and develop their own solutions.
Preparing children for a changing world
Children are growing up in a world where information and instant answers are always within reach. Form & Wonder gives them space to slow down, think for themselves, and become confident navigating questions without obvious answers.
At Form & Wonder, children learn by observing, questioning, experimenting, and making their own choices. These habits of mind extend beyond art, helping prepare them for an increasingly complex and rapidly changing world.
Look Closely
Slow down. Notice details, patterns, shapes, relationships, and things that are easy to overlook.
Think Differently
Ask questions, make connections, explore possibilities, and develop ideas independently.
Create Freely
Experiment, make choices, take creative risks, and turn observation and ideas into something uniquely your own.
